The ACS580 is ABB's general purpose drive for heavy and industrial duty, built around the principle that everything needed for most applications should already be inside the drive. A built-in choke, EMC filter and comprehensive application software come as standard, and the same drive is available as a wall-mounted all-in-one unit, a high-power module for cabinet builders, or a complete ready-made cabinet. It shares its tools, user interface and parameter structure with the rest of ABB's all-compatible portfolio.
