Hydralytix
Hydralytix is JOAT’s smart water network platform, bringing data collection, monitoring, reporting and alerts into one central system. It provides near-real-time visibility of water usage through custom dashboards, scheduled reports and configurable email or SMS alerts, helping operators understand network performance, identify abnormalities and make better decisions. Hydralytix is scalable from individual sites to large network deployments.
What Hydralytix Does
Data Collection & Integration
Hydralytix collects data from smart meters, loggers and network sensors using modern, multi-protocol communication technologies, and transmits it securely to a central platform. API connectivity allows integration with existing systems.
Dashboards & Reporting
Customisable, role-based dashboards provide network visibility and multi-variable reporting. Data can be exported, and reports can be scheduled daily, weekly or monthly to suit operational requirements.
Alerts & Notifications
Configurable alerts can notify users by email or SMS when defined conditions or potential issues are detected. These may include early indicators of leakage, pressure changes, abnormal flow patterns or other operational issues.
Mapping & Network Visualisation
Visualise connected assets and network information on maps, with data views that help operators move from network-level information to individual assets.
Turnkey Smart Networks
JOAT does not simply supply the platform. JOAT designs, supplies, installs, commissions, hosts, maintains and monitors the utility meters and smart networks deployed, providing a turnkey solution from hardware through to ongoing monitoring and support.

Advanced Pressure Management
JOAT has more than two decades of experience in advanced pressure management. Using i2O technology, JOAT delivers remote control and automatic optimisation of pressure at pressure-reducing valves across a network. Self-learning algorithms account for changing demand patterns to maintain pressure at an appropriate level — high enough to support customer service and low enough to help reduce leakage and bursts.
Leak Detection
Leaks can remain underground and go unnoticed because they do not always reach the surface. JOAT uses established field methods to investigate suspected leaks, narrow the search area and help locate the source. Where applicable, before-and-after flow measurements are compared with a baseline to verify the impact of an intervention and quantify water savings.
FIDO AI Leak Detection
FIDO Tech forms part of JOAT’s smart network and leak-detection offering. Its AI analyses acoustic and other sensor data from pressurised water networks to help identify and prioritise potential leaks and other network abnormalities. JOAT can provide the technology as a subscription-based solution or as a managed service.
FIDO Network Monitor
Fixed network monitoring uses sensors and connected data to help identify and prioritise potential leaks and other network abnormalities, supporting investigation and ongoing verification.
FIDO Leak Locate
Portable field leak location combines sensor technology, software and AI-assisted analysis to support leak investigation and identification.
