Cabinet-built drives are supplied as a finished assembly rather than a module to be integrated on site. The ACS880-07 range is built to order with the rectifier, DC link, inverter, fuses, line choke and main switch already installed and wired into a compact cabinet, which shortens assembly and commissioning considerably. A wide set of standardised configurations is available, and where an application needs something outside them, ABB's Order-Based Engineering can add features such as an extra cabinet section for customer-specific devices.

• ACS880-07 cabinet-built single drives, built to order, 45–2800 kW; ratings tabled from 45 to 1400 kW at 400 V and 500 V

• Complete configuration includes rectifier, DC link, inverter, fuses, line choke and main switch in one cabinet

• Drives up to frame R11 use a compact single module combining rectifier and inverter; larger drives use separate rectifier and inverter modules

• Standardised configurations from line contactors through to prevention of unexpected motor start
