The ACH480 and ACH580 are ABB's dedicated HVACR drives. Where a general purpose drive has to be configured for building services, these ship with the relevant software already in place: Hand-Off-Auto operation, override mode for emergency ventilation, damper monitoring, de-frost start interlock and air filter monitoring. Building automation protocols are built in rather than added as options, so the drive connects to BACnet, Modbus RTU or N2 out of the box.
